TURNING POINT FESTIVAL - Roundhouse

Masterminded by aspiring young people, The Roundhouse Turning Point Festival was an eclectic mix of performing arts – from comedy to poetry and back to groundbreaking music, traversing leftfield, dance, breakbeat and drum'n'bass styles.
Our teams were controlling a massive powerful projector while Rob da Bank and Professor Green were dropping explosive beats and energizing tunes. Theatrically driven and excitingly burlesque, our live visual performance fused the retro footage with the volumes of urban and graffiti iconography in a hilarious and unpredictable manner.
To create the visuals, the team of EYESONTHEWALL browsed libraries of footage hunting for remarkable material, experimented with Super8 tapes, painted over and scratched anonymous home movies, talked to timid spiders inducing them to make a web and pose for us.
